A wonderful 7 mile walk through open countryside and along riverside paths to look at the heritage of Neasham village, the site of important crossing points along the Tees. Hear tales of ancient abbeys, artillery ranges, floods and a thriving community.

Meet at the Fox and Hounds Pub; permission to use the pub car park has been kindly granted by the landlord.

The walk includes a number of stiles. Assistance dogs only please

Please wear sturdy walking boots and dress for the weather with sun hat, sun cream and plenty of water if the weather is hot. Some paths will be muddy after rain.

Please bring a packed lunch; tea and cake will be available at the Neasham Reading Rooms community centre at the end of the walk
