Kindly hosted by the Friends of Linthorpe Cemetery, today's Tees Tales looks at the people who kept the river working with retired Tees Pilot Caption Geoff Taylor. A lifetime connection with the river is explored, looking at the history of the Tees Pilotage service and Geoff's own experiences. Local historian Ian Stubbs will discuss the river people buried in the cemetery and we will finish the day with a gentle walk around this lovely site to see the gravestones and hear their stories.

Meet at the Hebrew Prayer House, Linthorpe Cemetery, Ayresome Green Road
