Take a walk in to history as we follow the Teesdale Way footpath from beautiful Preston Park to the Tees Barrage, passing the sites of shipyards, rifle ranges, old farms, ironworks, potteries and flour mills and using the bridges over the Tees as landmarks.

Please meet outside the main entrance to Preston Hall Museum.

Please wear warm and waterproof clothing and walking boots; paths will be muddy after rain.

Please bring a packed lunch and money for the train fare Thornaby-Eaglescliffe.
