Stories are everywhere and this Tees Tales event will explore local stories on the banks of the Tees with storyteller Elizabeth Baker.

We're going on a story hunt around the Preston Hall Museum! We might hear about Colonel Spence who gave his collection to help create the museum. Perhaps we'll find out how Robert Ropner stowed away on a boat to Hartlepool as an orphan, built an industrial empire and came to live as a rich man at Preston Hall. What stories are hidden away in the Victorian Street? Elizabeth will tell stories and explain how she finds inspiration from objects and photos and everyone will get the chance to create their own Tees Tales.

A chance for the whole family to get involved; children must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.

Museum entry charges apply (workshop is free)
